Toccoa Partners, LLC announced that Toccoa Camp, a community located on the Toccoa River outside of Blue Ridge, Georgia has been named a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. Toccoa Camp is a gated, riverfront trout fishing sanctuary developed by Toccoa Partners, LLC as an eco friendly trout fishing and outdoor activities community. To obtain such a highly regarded award, Toccoa Camp has undergone a rigorous and scrutinizing process from the National Wildlife Federation to help both create and maintain the protection of the natural water around the property including stringent erosion control principles and the necessary cover that wildlife needs in order to eat and raise their young. Addtionally, it has implemented sustainable development practices and preserved a mini refuge ecosystem of forest and riverfront reclamation and protection. As a result, Toccoa Camp will be able to display this prestigious award within the community. The mission of the National Wildlife Federation is to inspire Americans to protect wildlife for our children’s future. Mr. Andrew Chase, Project Manager, stated” We are pleased to be honored with this award and along with adhering to Earth Craft and Energy STtar Certified construction, Toccoa Camp is a place for solitude, privacy, and natural beauty for those who cherish this commitment.” Toccoa Camp has now received its award certificates, display signs and congratulations from the National Wildlife Federation.
